Jaime Luciano, spanischer Philosoph, * Vich 28. 8. 1810, ✝ ebenda 9. 7. 1848; Hauptvertreter der spanischen Neuscholastik des 19. Jahrhunderts, als Staatstheoretiker Verfechter der Monarchie; leistete bedeutende Beiträge zur katholischen Staatslehre.
 
Werke: El protestantismo comparado con el catolicismo en sus relaciones con la civilización europea, 4 Bände (1842-44; deutsch Protestantismus und Katolicismus in ihren Beziehungen zur europäischen Civilisation); El criterio (1845; deutsch Weg zur Erkenntniß des Wahren); Filosofía fundamental, 4 Bände (1846; deutsch Fundamente der Philosophie).
